Titans get 3 wins on weekend; gain valuable 6 pts.
The Halifax Titans had 3 games in 3 days this past weekend and came out victorious in all of them.
On Friday night, the Titans travelled to Berwick for some redemption vs. Valley Wildcats. In a fast paced, hard hitting game, the Titans found themselves down early but stayed with the gameplan and came back to earn a 4-3 win. Scoring for the Titans were Jack Patterson (2), Ethan Marsh and Jordan Bezanson. Jacob Dempsey was solid in nets with 16 saves.
On Saturday, the Titans welcomed the Cape Breton Tradesmen to the Halifax Forum. The Titans got off to a great start and cruised the rest of the way for the 3-0 win. Scoring for the Titans were Brett McNeil, John MacDonald and Drew Packman. Nick Dawe earned the shutout with 12 saves.
On Sunday, the Titans hosted the Pictou County Weeks Midgets at the Halifax Forum. The Titans started strong again, jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the first, however Pictou battled back and cut the lead to 3-2 in the 3rd period. The Titans got one more late and held on for the 4-2 win. Scoring for the Titans were Jack Patterson (2), Luc Poirier and Drew Packman. Jordan Yochoff had 3 assists as well. Jacob Dempsey got the win with 19 saves.
The next action for the Titans takes place on Wed. Jan. 23 when they travel across the harbour to take on the Cole Harbour Wolfpack.
