Titans Loose Opener In Close Battle

If the first game of the NSMMHL championship was any indication this should be a long and exciting series.

The Dawgs came out fast and hard in the first setting the pace and creating many odd man opportunities. The period ended with the Dawgs up 1-0.

After a few big hits by the Titans in the beginning of the second the momentum shifted resulting in a 1-1 tie after two.

The third was another close period which felt like sudden death overtime. The Dawgs scored off a clean faceoff win with under six minutes left and ended up being the winner.

Each team had some quality chances and both goaltenders made some great saves to keep the score very close. Shots were 30 -20 in favor of the Titans
