Taylar Made Security Titans beat Valley, 5-1.

The Taylar Made Security Titans scored three powerplay goals en route to a 5-1 victory over the Valley Wildcats on Wednesday night in Kentville.

The Titans went 3 for 3 with the man advantage on Wednesday night, and surrendered only 18 shots against the Valley Wildcats, posting a 5-1 victory.

Tyler Mathieu opened the scoring on the powerplay halfway through the first period, with Jordan Keizer and goaltender Richard Tingley drawing assists on the play.

The Titans potted 2 more power play goals in the second period on consecutive opportunities. Spencer Cameron scored at the 10:10 mark, with Kevin Jackson and Andrew Graham adding the assists. Captain Brandon Boutilier scored at the 3:53 mark of the second period, as linemates Adam Stevens and Luke Short chipped in with the helpers.

Spencer Cameron scored his second goal of the game at the 17:37 mark of the final frame, finishing on a pretty passing display from defensive pair Mark Falkenham and Justin Roode. The Titans rounded out the scoring at the 11:50 mark of the period, with Adam Stevens converting on a hard net drive, as Brandon Boutilier and Adam Brown drew assists on the play.

The Titans pelted the Valley net with 76 shots in total, while Richard Tingley stopped 17 of 18 shots in the victory for the Titans.

The Titans aren't on the ice this weekend in the NSMMHL, but will be volunteering with Tasa Minor Hockey to work with young minor hockey players on and off the ice as part of the Hockey Nova Scotia Development Weekend program.

The Titans will be back in action on November 14th, when the Cape Breton Tradesmen come to town. Game time is 7:30.
