Macs Name MacPhee Captain

The Halifax McDonalds Major Midget Hockey Club are pleased to announce Ian MacPhee as the teams captain for the 2016-17 season.
Ian is fresh off a successful camp with the Halifax Mooseheads where he turned some heads as a late round pick in the 2016 QMJHL draft.
The power forward will be an imposing force on the ice this season on the forecheck and in the corners.
"Ian is a quality young man, who brings a solid work ethic to the rink night in and night out. I can't think of a better young man to carry on the tradition of great leaders who have worn the "C" for the Halifax McDonalds. Players will definitely have their head up when Ian is on the ice this year. The players and coaches are all very excited for the season ahead in which Ian will be a big part of" stated Head Coach Tim Boyce.
Ian will join the club on Monday. Welcome back Ian from the Macs Family!
